Mir贸 extra帽ado el remite.
Estimado se帽or Fernando, hace tan s贸lo unos d铆as he podido recoger una botella conteniendo un peque帽o texto; un texto cordial y abundante en esperanza. Lo he le铆do detenidamente, y ahora me atrevo a contestarle. Llegu茅 a amarlo.

His right hand, like an ocean wave, heaved the bottle forcefully as far as possible from the rock outcropping that protruded into the sea. The bottle emerged quickly and became a provisional buoy. Inside it, a writing, a small message, accompanied by a short verse by Pablo Neruda: To whom recovers this bottle, my deepest greetings. I have written these lines in my recreation time, during the activities of my classmates and my few friends, who entertain themselves jumping around, playing soccer or basketball, doing the opposite of myself. I hope that this bottle is recovered by a kind hand, and the text that remains inside it is spread fingers as avid as my own, as intelligent and curious eyes read my message. I am an young man who trusts in the undulations of the sea, in the ocean currents, in the marine shortcuts. In destiny. I hope that another person, a woman, reads my text and writes to me at the address that accompanies my letter. My most cordial salute.

The days passed, the months went by, the years added up, and one day, in the month of August, when he was once again in the coastal town to spend a vacation, someone knocked on his door. He made his way to the door, and noticed that an envelope had been slipped underneath it. His right hand retrieved the envelope. He looked at the handwriting, delicate and formed with strange ringlets. Thereafter, he carefully opened the envelope. From inside it he extracted a folded paper. On this appeared a text handwritten with a fountain pen that said:
Esteemed mister Fernando, only a few days ago I was able to recover a bottle containing a small text; a cordial text abundant in hope. I have read it at length, and now I dare to answer you. I believe that I should tell you that I also played when I was your age, and my friends entertained themselves by chatting with my classmates. I remember that some time ago, I admired one classmate at school. He never paid attention to the various girls, among whom I found myself. He was an attractive young man, tall and sensitive. I began to love him. But I was afraid and I suffered from his shyness. Now, the time already passed, I only wish that you live in health and peace.
He placed the letter on the table. Slowly, he removed his glasses. He was pensive for a long moment, time that he used to pick at his white beard. He turned to looking at the letter again and later focused on the signature, Sister Margarita Balboa. He trembled at the address, and a shiver ran up his spine. His right hand pulled the curtain from the window and his eyes fixed themselves upon the convent that he could make out only hundreds of meters from his house.
